This is the perfect blend to bring in the sunrise! Schuil has a warm, medium blend comparable to the cups that might be severed in those charming small town diners you see all across the countryside. But this not the same. There is something more to it. Something that says “Yes, I am that; but there is still so much more to me.” It could be the notes of chocolate and the mild raisin that really make this Colombian roast sing.
I’m already reaching to fill my mug for the second time. Looking out the window to view a bright morning, with a hopeful day on the horizon. That is how this Michigan roasted coffee should be enjoyed. Being a Michigan dweller, I find myself reaching for the home brews more then others, and you will never go wrong when you reach for a third cup. But this coffee shouldn’t be limited just us Michigan folks, it’s robust flavor should be experienced by all coffee lover, the far and wide.
We have Gary Schuil to thank for this Grand Rapids company. He set out in the early 1980s and became one of the first coffee roasters in Michigan to produce specialty coffee. And I have to thank him for that. I myself have never met Gary and he as long since left us, but I think he would be overjoyed to know the coffee he worked so hard for made it to my table. Not just that, but more, it begun this day more me. I hope that you will let it start a day for you in your future.
